The show must go on! Lil' Kim defies bar brawls to perform for her fans
Lil' Kim proved that fans come first when she traversed several bar fights to perform for a Florida audience.
The rapper continued her set despite multiple brawls breaking out before she was due onstage.
37-year-old Kim was reportedly unfazed by the incidents and performed like a pro, much to the delight of her awaiting fans.
She appeared at the Channelside IMAX in Tampa, along with fellow rapper Trina, who was forced to be pulled from the stage by her security when the violence broke out.
But ever the professional, Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, jumped in and starting performing her own music.
Once the crowd had calmed down thanks to Kim taking the initiative, Trina joined her on stage a few minutes later.
The fellow rapper then duetted with Kim along to some of her biggest hits.
And Trina was clearly grateful for Kim's bravery when she took to her Twitter account the following day.
She wrote: 'Can't forget to thank everyone that came out last night in Tampa. Despite all the fighting the show must go on. @LilKim closed it w/ a bang!', a post which was retweeted by the 4ft 11in Magic Stick rapper.
Kim sported a racy pink and black romper suit with sheer panels for her set at the night club.
And she accessorised the look with pink platform heels, over-the-knee stockings and a chunky pearl necklace. (dailymail)
Kim's Assistant Reacts To Fan Criticism Over Decision To Delay EP For Mayweather
Lil Kim's assistant and close friend has been forced to address criticism from fans who are angry that the rapper has decided to delay her EP in order to support Floyd Mayweather over his impending jail sentence. Reports emerged over the weekend claiming that Kim will be delaying the release of her much-awaited yet-to-be-titled EP as she wants to be able to fully support Floyd, whose jail sentence was suspended again to allow him to train for a fight in May.
Following severe backlash from her fans, who claim that she is putting men before her fans and music, Kim's assistant Noel released a lengthy message clarifying the situation on Twitter.
"Wait wait wait. im not about 2 sit up here & get attacked. @LilKim is a human being w/ a personal life & friends like we are. Loyal, caring... She's been through a similar situation, & her good friend needed her thru a rough time & she is there to support & help him thru it. She's been busy over there & still has u guys in her heart & mind. its still coming but things need to be right & timing as well."
Noel added: "It wasn't our place 2 say cause' its Floyd's situation. I guess they wanted 2 be private. I really do apologize 4 the delay. It will work out. It was going to be a holiday ep. she announced that before she spoke with floyd & had to do what she had to do with him." (source: taletela.com)

Lil' Kim Post-Pones the Release of Her EP to Support Pro Boxer Floyd Mayweather
Lil' Kim traveled across the country yesterday to support professional boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr at a Nevada court where he pleaded guilty to battery charges. The case stems from a hair-pulling, punching and arm-twisting argument with Josie Harris, the mother of three of Mayweather's children, and threats to beat their sons in an argument about Harris dating another man.
According to TMZ, Kim and Floyd have become really close friends ... in fact, she's put her career on hold for the boxer while he awaits his sentence, canceling New Year's Eve appearances and even her holiday album just to be there for him.
