VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens will be a night for the ages. We’re honoring Salt-N-Pepa featuring Dj Spinderella, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim, which is badass, but wait until you find out who is hosting the show: Eve!
Yes, the Grammy Award-winning rapper will MC the evening, and it makes total sense why. Eve is a hip hop icon with four amazing albums and a slew of hit singles to her name.
Eve hit the scene in 1999 with her debut album Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, which reached No.1 on both the Billboard 200 and R&B Albums charts. Her 2002 single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani was an international hit and earned Eve the inaugural Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. (VH1.com)
