Lil Kim to Share Custody Of Royal Reign

(Bossip article) Lil Kim has backed off her claims that Mr Papers beat her, and went one step further by agreeing to let him co-parent Royal, BOSSIP can reveal.

The “Crush On You” rapper asked a Bergen County, NJ family court judge this week to toss her domestic violence allegations against Mr. Papers, and OK’d letting him see their one year old, Royal Reign Jones-Neil, once a week with a court-approved monitor. Lil Kim, born Kimberly Jones, signed off on the deal Aug. 7.

“Everything is resolved,” Papers’ lawyer Ronald Bar-Nadav told BOSSIP. “This is really for the benefit of Royal. Everything was settled amicably. They walked out as friends.”

Kim – who passed the time waiting for her case to be heard by taking selfies inside the court room – initially pressed the judge to allow Papers see Royal Reign once every 10 days. She also asked that she be the one who supervises the visits. But eventually, she agreed to Mr. Papers’ custody proposal.

Papers, real name Jeremy Neil, will get to visit with the baby for two hours today, the first time he’s seen her since she was two months old, Papers’ rep Veronica Jordan told BOSSIP.

Kim and Papers broke up last year over cheating claims. Papers filed for visitation June 9, the baby’s first birthday, and Kim filed the domestic violence charges July 22nd.

That sequence of events wasn’t lost on the judge, who told Kim that he found it hard to fathom her claim that she didn’t know about Papers’ push for visitation but just happened to file the domestic violence charges.
